Sony has announced a new VFX facility called Torchlight during their CES 2024 presentation. The facility will allow creators and filmmakers to create digital versions of scenes as part of their production process. This tool uses Unreal Engine, virtual cameras and virtual production toolsets, which will use Sony's Digital cinema VENICE cameras to connect virtual environments with live production.
