Checking the pinout on these transistors and it looks like they might drop straight in without crossing anything which is always a win, but the big question is whether I am actually going to like the flipped transistor sound. The NeverDrive style spiky octavy fuzz can get wild and I am still not convinced it is my thing, but I am testing the HFE and giving it a fair chance.
